Description
This is a portable classroom that was originally built around 1916 and was at first a school for only white students. In 1942 it then became an elementary school for 'colored' students in Tarpon Springs, FL.
It was scheduled for demolition in 2000, but community activists managed to save it, and it is now part of the outdoor museum Heritage Village in Florida, which I where I shot this photo when I visited recently.
