Description
In an act of greed, we reduce a person to be only how we see them. We take care of a person. Cherishing them, sustaining them, and supporting them as we see them become who we want them to be. Until they want freedom. To escape to their autonomy, they escape from our grasp. We keep them contained. Our greed is in our selfishness in letting them exist. They can only exist within our bounds; anything more will be suppressed. We obsess in who we want them to be, and celebrate our power of keeping them in a vessel too small.
